The 1st Global Digital Intelligence Education Innovation Competition
In response to the new opportunities and challenges presented by the digital intelligence era to global higher education, and with the guidance and support of China’s Ministry of Education, Peking University has collaborated with nearly 30 universities worldwide to establish the Digital Intelligence International Development Education Alliance (DI-IDEA) (hereinafter, the “Alliance”). Pursuant to the arrangements made by the Alliance, we are pleased to announce the launch of the 1st Global Digital Intelligence Education Innovation Competition. This competition aims to enhance communication and collaboration among member universities of the Alliance and extend these interactions to include other universities worldwide. Through this competition, we seek to promote teaching and learning and explore new paradigms for the nurturing of innovative talent for the digital intelligence era.

Cambridge Digitalization Annual Event
ED2124 was a huge success with our largest audience yet and a long waiting list for places. We recorded our keynote speakers: Dr Alina von Davier, Professor Zeki Qiu, the Right Honourable Charles Clarke, Dr Fawaz Abu Sitta & Dr Imogen Casebourne, and our afternoon sessions: EdTech Developers’ showcase; AI panel discussion; and Prof Rupert Wegerif and Dr Louis Major’s book launch.

Beijing Forum
Beijing Forum, an international academic forum, has been held annually since 2004. It is sponsored by the People's Government of Beijing Municipality and is overseen by the Chinese Ministry of Education. Peking University, Beijing Municipal Education Commission, and the Chey Institute for Advanced Studies (CHEY) co-sponsor Beijing Forum.

Launched in the fall of 2021, Peking University Global Open Courses Program is now open for application for the 2024 Spring semester! Under this program, selected Peking University offline courses are offered to overseas college students to attend synchronously with PKU students. We welcome international college students to join online with their offline PKU peers in this program!

About us
To address the opportunities and challenges facing global higher education in the era of digital intelligence, Peking University has established the Digital Intelligence International Development Education Alliance (DI-IDEA) together with nearly 30 universities at home and abroad. DI-IDEA aims to foster cooperation between universities, combine forces to tackle major challenges posed by this era, explore governance models for digital intelligence, and offer academic support and policy recommendations for universal well-being. DI-IDEA was officially launched at Beijing Forum on November 3, 2023.
